Monday, October 24th: We need your help! Each month VGF plans, purchases, cooks, bakes, serves, prays, and cleans-up for the Look Up Center meal. Last month we had enough volunteers to serve and pray but we were short on food items, so please take time to visit the link below and donate food. Our meal this month is beef and noodles, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls, and a pumpkin dessert. Please drop off your food items to the church kitchen labeled LOOK UP at any service time the weekend of the 23rd. We will be cooking on October 24th starting at 2:00PM and then you can join us at 5:00PM to serve. We hope to see you there! If you have any questions contact Courtney Johnson 740-404-5398. Life Groups - The Christian life is not meant to be lived alone. Here at VGF we believe that we grow best and our community is reached best when we do so in community with each other.

Thursday, October 27th at 5pm

Once again the Outreach Team will host “Safe trick or treat” event starting at 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, October 27th, in downtown Newark on the square. Last years' event resulted in serving 700 hot dogs. We also handed out 500 bags of candy. This year we will be serving1000 hot dogs, and 600 bags of candy. There are many opportunities to serve during this event. Last year we prayed with dozens of families and we plan to do that again this year. This is an opportunity to
share the love and light of Christ. If you would like to serve and/or participate, please email Beau Bromberg.
