In addition and in honor of VGF’s 14year anniversary that very same weekend, VGF will be hosting a “get together” dinner on the night of praise. Our first ever such event. We would like sign-ups if attending the dinner and you will need to bring lawn chairs to flow into the parking lots, or the gym (inclement weather). We would like for you to bring large desserts to share with the VGF body. VGF will provide for you: hot dogs,
beans, salads, chips and drinks.
This event will need some helping hands, so please contact Kathy Rhorer to be on the setup, maintenance and tear down team. This event will be from 4:30-6:30PM then we will gather for praise! Sign up at Connect or online.
Thursday, October 27th at 5pm
Once again the Outreach Team will host “Safe trick or treat” event starting at 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, October 27th, in downtown Newark on the square. Last years' event resulted in serving 700 hot dogs. We also handed out 500 bags of candy. This year we will be serving1000 hot dogs, and 600 bags of candy. There are many opportunities to serve during this event. Last year we prayed with dozens of families and we plan to do that again this year. This is an opportunity to
share the love and light of Christ. If you would like to serve and/or participate, please email Beau Bromberg.
